    It pissed off Germany at everyone else. And it helped to additional imperialism.

    WW1 was the trigger for the Russian Revolution. The bipolarity of the Cold War was the dominant factor in international relations for half of the 20th century.
    WW1 made all of Europe mad at Germany, and the outcome made Germany mad at everyone else. The conclusion of WW1 certainly laid the basis for WW2.

    world war one caused catastrophic inflation. Inflation that is still pretty high today.
