    With the peace signed with Russia, a half million troups that formerly fought the Russians were now available. The Germans thought with this increase in strength they could launch an offensive that would end the war on the western adjoin.

    The Russian Revolution had started. All the Russian soldiers quit the East adjoin and packed up to go home. The Germans then went the troops that were fighting in the East for a final push against the Western adjoin, hoping to make it to Paris.

    Russians were fed up with their standard of living and turned against the government.

    Russia’s exit had full them with more troops for the Western adjoin, but America’s entry meant that they’d have to get their blow in quick before they were overwhelmed.
    1918 was a race FOR time for the Allies, and AGAINST time for the Germans.
