A beautiful antique Art Nouveau silver and enamelled butterfly brooch pin by Charles Horner, hallmarked for Chester 1911 and stamped CH for Charles Horner.Of dainty proportions, incredibly detailed with four little wings, each one well figured with stylised veins and vibrant turquoise and green enamelling. An exquisite little period pin by this esteemed silversmith, with shapedscalloped wings and two curly feelers on the top of his head! A gorgeous piece to own and wear, delightfully pretty, fitted with an open C clasp to reverse, in lovely vintage condition, two small areas on the upper body where the enamel is thinner, I don't think this is damage, I think it is part of its original creation, please see pics. A stunning example, gloriously dinky, a must have addition to any collection. Measures approximately 3cm x 2cm. Beautiful.
