This is an excellent Stereo card of workers spinning and weaving woolen shawls in Kashmir, India. It is from a Keystone “Tour of the World” 600 card set (the cards are numbered T1 to T600) from about the 1930's. The card is titled "Spinning and Weaving Woolen Shawls, Srinagar, Kashmir, India." and is numbered 525 with a Keystone negative number of 12565. This card is in excellent to near mint condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
Domestic buyers (including Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, APO, or FPO) to prepay $6.50 shipping and handling for Priority Mail (mailed in a box) or $3.50 for First Class Mail (mailed in an envelope between two pieces of cardboard). All US shipping charges include delivery confirmation. Please add 9.00% California State sales tax if delivered to an address in California. Foreign shipping and handling is more. Air Mail to Canada is $10.00 and Air Mail to the UK or most other countries is $12.00. Save on shipping by having multiple items shipped together.
